[ferro-alloys.com]By the end of the trading, LME nickle was quoted at 15640USD/T yesterday. It was 115 USD/T lower than the price on the last trading day. The inventory decreased to 280166 tons. It was 1098 tons lower. Both LME nickle price and SHFE nickle price went down in the morning. Influenced by environmental policy, the future nickle price was still on high level despite of the price decline. Compared to Wuxi 1806 contract, the discount of Russian nickle was 100RMB/T, and Jinchuan nickle discount was 50RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickle (big board) at 118200RMB/T in Shanghai. The mainstream price was 118000-118350RMB/T.

It was said that the members of government inspector group for environmental protection had arrived in Jiangsu and Inner Mongolia. They would start their “looking back” inspections. So, many ferronickle plants restricted or halted their productions.Relatively,the high grade ferronickle supply was insuffcient, and the price went up further. Today, the price of high grade ferronickle was 1060-1075RMB/Nickle. The low grade ferronickle maintained at 3300-3400RMB/T
