  As of December 29, China Baowu Masteel ironmaking plant has completed the production of 14505310 tons of hot metal and 14.4 million tons of annual production ahead of schedule. It is estimated that 14.58 million tons will be completed in the whole year and 180000 tons will be overproduced, which is nearly 0.53 million tons higher than last year. It has successfully finished ahead of schedule with the best production in history.

  2020 is an extraordinary year for Masteel's ironmakers. There are a range of complicated and changeable adverse factors faced by us in this year, such as the fluctuation of raw and fuel quality, high requirements of environmental protection control, epidemic prevention and control, furnace protection, and a series of challenges and pressures brought by the construction of key projects and the optimization of human resources. What’s more, more than 0.1 million tons of output lost due to external reasons. Under such situation, the cadres and the masses of the general plant have made great efforts to meet the difficulties, and launched a "tough battle" to stabilize production and raise standards.

  The general plant timely and scientifically adjusted organization form, innovated the production and operation mode, established the early warning mechanism of blast furnace, strengthened planned value management, furnace protection and production guarantee in the later stage of furnace service. The general plant dispatched the elite troops to form a technical research team to carry out the standard finding and technical research. The experienced members focused on the furnace conditions, ploughed deeply on the site, increased the technical research via daily statistics, weekly analysis and monthly summary to timely analyze and study the change law.
