  On January 5, the first staff congress of the 7th Jiuquan Iron and steel (Group) Co., Ltd. was held in Jiayuguan Grand Theater. Wei Zhibin, general manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of the group company, on behalf of the group company, disclosed in the administrative work report entitled "party building, reform, innovation, driving, improving quality and efficiency, comprehensively opening the new journey of high-quality development of the group company". It is estimated that the annual operating revenue will be 114.1 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 10.2%; the total industrial output value in the province will be 69.12 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 9%; and the profit will be 1.01 billion yuan yuan, a year-on-year increase of 234.4%.

  The report specifies the objectives of operation in 2021: to achieve business income of 116 billion yuan, industrial output value of 74 billion yuan and profit of 1 billion yuan. It produces 8.3 million tons of iron, 9.6 million tons of steel, 9.5 million tons of steel materials(including 1 million tons of stainless steel), 1.58 million tons of electrolytic aluminum and 21.7 billion kwh of power generation. The investment in fixed assets projects is 2.53 billion yuan. The input intensity of science and technology was 2.6%. At the end of the year, the asset liability ratio was not higher than 69.9%. There were no accidents of work death and group personal injury.
