[Ferro-Alloys.com] Since June the cored wires market stepped in the slack season. The whole market, no matter the domestic sales or the export sales, both are in a unsatisfied situation. The environmental assessment has been reinforced, which led to the semi-shutdown of the cored wire production; the downstream users may already prepare the goods in advance.

Many sources from Henan told us that many of them almost ceased the production or the business of cored wires. They chose other ferroalloys and even withdrew the ferroalloy industry because of the bleak condition of the industry.

Some traders and producers expressed their regret that it is hard to make the export business of cored wires for a couple of months, apart from the high tariff and the policy, foreign countries start producing cored wires by themselves, which imposes a huge influence on the export of cored wires.
