[Ferro-Alloys.com] Recently we are informed that till now the price of metal calcium is still very high, up by as high as RMB1,000/mt. currently, the mainstream ex-work price of metal calcium granules（0—2mm）stands at RMB16,800—17,000/mt, the price of Ca cored wires stands at RMB10,000/mt.

Due to the high price rising, the closing ratio has been in a low level. The trading companies in Qingdao, Shanghai and Xian introduced that because of the industrial depression, the export of metal calcium is increasing, and the cored wires business is basically ceased. A trading company from Anyang city said that now they have stopped the business of metal calcium and cored wires.
