[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to the sources from 29 cored wire producers from Hebei and 14 cored wire producers of Henan and 6 cored wire producers from Tianjin, currently the whole market condition is not optimistic. Due to the production cuts of steel mills, about 20 cored wire producers stopped the cored wire business; some of them withdrew the ferroalloy industry. Some of them signed that now the market is subjected to the buyers, the margin is extremely narrow, we can barely survive. As the government enhances the environmental assessment, some of the producers have to stop producing cored wire for the moment.

The price of calcium silicon is raising, now the ex-work price of Ca30Si60 is RMB9, 800/mt, the ex-work price of (Ca30Si55) is RMB 9,500/mt.  It is said that due to the rise of raw materials of FeTi, now the price of FeTi is also up accordingly.
