[Ferro-Allys.com] The export price of hot-dip galvanized (HDG) remains stable in India during Christmas holiday. Most Indian steel mills point out that they would soar their export prices by around 1~2% for next February owing to increasing cost on raw material.
Indian steel mills expect the U.S. buyers will return to the steel market and propel HDG prices to keep hiking. However, they are afraid that the export prices would be affected by uncertain local market prices and fluctuated exchange rate.
