[Ferro-Alloys.com] The western indium market remained at a standstill as business has been largely elusive over the past couple of weeks, sources said. Despite the lack of demand, prices held at $680-700 per kg as stockpile increases at the Fanya Metals Exchange are likely to continue after the New Year. Demand should remain calculated as buyers keep a watchful stance on large spot buys. Chinese spot prices for indium metal held at 4,650-4,720 yuan per kg ($769-780) VAT included, week-on-week.
