Brazil’s Domestic Aluminum Product Consumption to Rise by 4.1% in 2013

Reportedly, Brazil’s domestic consumption of aluminum products is expected to grow by 4.1% year on year in 2013, according to the Brazilian aluminum association Abal.
 
In the first half of this year, the country’s economy has grown by 2.6% year on year.
 
Meanwhile, it’s expected that the consumption of aluminum sheets is expected to rise by 7.6% year on year to 574,000 tons in 2013. Also, the consumption of extruded products might increase by 7% to 376,000 tons.
