According to statistics, France imported 928,000 tons of iron ore in June, slumping by 27.5% from a month ago.
In the first six months of this year, the country’s iron ore imports amounted to 6.873 million tons, up by 0.6% year on year.
In the given period of time, Brazil was the largest exporter of iron ore to France with 4.209 million tons, soaring by 41.9%; Canada was the second largest one with 1.726 million tons, rising by 17.3%, both compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
