Shagang Cuts Rebar Prices for Late-September

It’s reported that the Chinese steelmaker Shagang announced to cut its rebar ex-work prices by RMB80/ton for deliveries during September 21-30.

After the adjustment, its prices for HRB400 rebar with diameter 16-25mm are at RMB3, 580/ton, including 17% VAT.

Meanwhile, the company cut its prices for HPB300 wire rods by RMB50/ton to RMB3, 640/ton, 17% VAT included.
