According to data released by the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan, the country’s crude steel output totaled 2.167 million tons in the first eight months of this year, decreasing by 18.4% year on year.
In the given period of time, Kazakhstan’s steel flats output totaled 1.431 million tons, slumping by 21.4%; that of ferroalloy was at 1.117 million tons, down by 1.6%, both compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
