Korean Hyundai Steel Purchases US H1 Scraps

It’s reported that the Korean steelmaker Hyundai Steel recently purchased H1 scraps from the US suppliers Sims and Schnitzer with prices of US$365/ton C&F, for November deliveries.
 
Meanwhile, it’s learned that the US scrap export prices to Korea in August were at US$380~US$385/ton C&F in August, when the import prices of the US scraps in the southeast Asian market stayed in upward stream.
