According to data released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance, the country’s stainless scrap exports totaled 13,839 tons in July, rising by 15.5% from a month ago.
Meanwhile, the country’s export prices of stainless scraps averaged at ¥121,261/ton, down by 1% from a month ago.
In July, Korea was the largest importer of the Japanese stainless scraps with 11,864 tons, jumping by 3.1 times from June.
In the first seven months of this year, the country’s stainless scrap exports amounted to 113,276 tons.
