Demand result of aluminium metal and primary processing for April-September 2012 increased by 3.3% from the previous term to 1.971231 million tons, Japan Aluminium Association announced. It is for the first time in 2 years since fiscal 2010 to exceed the previous term. On the background that demand for automobile was ever-increasing until June and construction related demand kept firmer tone. But it didn’t reach to 2 million level in the 4 straight years because of slow down of demand caused by ending of eco-car subsidy on and after Summer.
