Yunnan Province Confirmed to Reduce Electrovalence

[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is confirmed that Yunnan, the main production area of silicon metal, does lower its electrovalence slightly. Part areas of Yunnan have reduced its electrovalence for 0.02~0.03 Yuan. However, it does not help the matter for the manufactures because production cost does not change for a lot. Manufacturers would be substantially benefited only if the power price decreases more than 0.05 Yuan. In the condition of weak market demand, slight price reduction would not bring enthusiasm for the manufactures.
