[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to statistics released by the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), the crude steel output of the medium and large scale steel mills totaled 1.65 million tons in the last ten days of June, down slightly by 0.32% from the previous ten days.

Therefore, it’s estimated that the country’s daily crude steel output would be at 1.965 million tons in the last ten days of June, falling by 0.28% from the ten days earlier.

Also, China’s daily crude steel output has declined for consecutive two months.

It’s analyzed that the decreased crude steel output was caused by poor demand from downstream buyers and lower steel prices. Furthermore, it’s predicted that the Chinese steel mills would reduce the production further in the near future.
