Xinhua News ,two major steel producers ,BenXi steel and Beitai Steel plants will be mergered sucessfully, this news annouced on June 8 by local government. After their Merge, the new capacitu will

reach to 20 million tons and annual turnover is trillion RMB.

Bensteel was set up in 1905 and become listed company in 1997. with capacity of 20 million tons of Iron ore, 10million tons of Pig Iron ,10million tons of steel ,and 12million tons of  Hot Roll Coil and 3.5million tons of CRC per annum. it is very important steel plant in Liaoning Province.

Beitai Steel was set up in 1971 with capacity of 8million tons Iron, 10 million tons of crude steel, 0.5millions tons of DIP,and big trucks of 300 sets per annum.

After thus Merger, they will reconstruct new big arc furace with 2850m3, and close their current furnce of 350m3, which it is one of the case of that the new capacity increased and  small capacity will be stopped.
