Rumble Resources has found broadly similar magnetic responses and size from 3D gravity modelling at its Fraser Range project to the eye intrusive body which is host to Sirius Resources' Nova and Bollinger nickel-copper sulphide deposits in Western Australia.

In short, Rumble's project appears to have the same intrusive rock units which are of similar age as the Nova and Bollinger nickel and copper deposits. This is enormously encouraging for future work at the project.

The deep root zone identified is coincident with a previously identified rimmed sub circular magnetic ring feature and represents a compelling exploration target for nickel and copper sulphide mineralization.

Previous exploration at Rumble's project area was carried out by Teck Australia between 2007 and 2010 and included two gravity surveys.

Interestingly, Teck also completed two diamond drill holes targeting IOCG mineralization with drilling completed prior to the discovery in 2012 of the Nova nickel and copper massive sulphide deposit by Sirius Resources.

Rumble is now arranging ground electromagnetics over the rimmed sub circular magnetic ring, and the deep root zone discovered beneath it, to determine if sulphide bodies are present and refine drill targets within the interpreted mafic and ultramafic body.
