According to data of Trade Statistics of Japan, in September 2021, Japan imported 39418.426 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon), basically the same as last month, an increase of 42.34% over the same period last year. Among them, 15775.473 tons were imported from China, accounting for 40.02%; 11420.493 tons were imported from Russia, accounting for 28.97%.
