According to data of Trade Statistics of Japan, from January to August 2021, Japan imported 275860.775 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon), an increase of 23.98% over the same period last year, of which, 97787.397 tons were imported from China, accounting for 35.45%; 92718.275 tons were imported from Russia, accounting for 33.61%.
