[Ferro-alloys.com] On July 20, the 600 km per hour high-speed maglev transportation system developed by CRRC Co with independent intellectual property rights was successfully rolled off the assembly line. It is the fastest ground vehicle in the world representing the cutting edge technological achievements in the rail transit industry. The high-speed maglev train will effectively bridge the speed gap between high speed rail and aviation and could travel from Beijing to Shanghai in just 2.5 hours.

In 2016, Baosteel began to participate in the development of the 600 km per hour high-speed maglev transportation system. In 2020, Baosteel supplied all the special silicon steel products required by the project for China’s first five 600 km per hour high-speed maglev trains and its rail system. All the performances of Baosteel’s products have reached the leading level in the world.
