China’s steel imports rise 64% YoY in 2020

According to data of China Customs, China exported 4850 thousand tons of steel in December, 2020, up 448 thousand tons than the previous month, and up 3.5% YoY.
 
In 2020, China's steel exports totaled 53.671 million tons, down 16.5% YoY.
 
In December, 2020, China imported 1375 thousand tons of steel, down 479 thousand tons vs. last month, down 7.3% YoY.
 
In 2020, China imported a total of 20.233 million tons of steel, up 64.4% YoY.
