[ferro-alloys.com]Recently, the crude oil price went up largely, and the index of U.S dollar dropped down. So, the price of LME nickel went up largely. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12875 USD/T. It rose up by 280 USD/T. Due to rising trend of LME nickel price, the price of future nickel was in upturn in domestic market. However, the trading volume was less. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2007 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was from 200 to 250 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 900-1000 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 104000 RMB/T. It was 1000 RMB/T higher than the price on last trading day.

Due to insufficient demand for stainless-steel, the market of stainless-steel was restricted. So, the mainstream price of high-grade ferronickel was 960-980 RMB/Nickel, it dropped down. The price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
