[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, the index of U.S dollar went up largely. Relatively, the price of LME nickel went down. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 11770 USD/T. It dropped down by 135 USD/T. Today, the trading volume was better than the volume yesterday in domestic market of future nickel. However, due to fall of LME nickel price, the price of future nickel also fell down. Today, compared with Shanghai future nickel 2005 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was from 0 to 50 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1200-1400 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 98000 RMB/T. It was 600 RMB/T lower than the price on last trading day.

The stainless steel market was in upturn, so was the high-grade ferronickel market. The mainstream price of high-grade ferronickel was 880-900 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
