The price of LME nickel went up largely. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 11905 USD/T. It rose up by 205 USD/T. The trading volume was less in domestic market of future nickel. However, the price rose up due to rising of LME nickel price. Today, compared with Shanghai future nickel 2005 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was from 0 to 50 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1300-1500 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 98600 RMB/T. It was 600 RMB/T higher than the price on last trading day.

The stainless-steel market was in upturn. The price of high-grade ferronickel rose up. The mainstream price of high-grade ferronickel was 870-890 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
