Besides, several nickel mines were planned to resume their production abroad. In this month, a large amount of LME future nickel were put into trade deal, so the inventory volume dropped down largely. LME was investigating it. So, global nickel was oversupplied. LME nickel price kept on dropping in most of this month. However, an accident occurred in nickel mine that belonged to Nornickel. The nickel market was shocked. So, the price of LME nickel went up in this week. In general, LME nickel price was in lower level.Yesterday, LME nickel was quoted at 16860 USD/T. Its inventory was 79800 tons. The demand for future nickel from downstream was insufficient, so people were not positive in future nickel market. Due to fall of LME nickel price, the electrolytic nickel price was in lower level. In the morning, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 136200 RMB/T.The barrelled small piece electrolytic nickel was quoted at 137400 RMB/T. They were 1700 RMB/T higher than the prices yesterday. The price of Jinchuan nickel was 135900-136300 RMB/T, and Russian nickel was quoted at 135800-136200 RMB/T.
