[ferro-alloys.com]Mining accident in Nornickel still affected nickel market. Due to mud leakage, Ramu nickel mining was closed in Papua New Guinea. These stimulated global nickel market further.  By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 16560 USD/T. It was 475 USD/T higher than the price on Tuesday. Due to rising of LME nickel price, the future nickel was in higher level today. The trading volume was still less.compared with Shanghai future nickel 1911 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was -100 to 150 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 200-300 RMB/T.Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 134500 RMB/T, it was 2600 RMB/T higher than the price Yesterday.

The stainless steel market was stable at present,so the ferronickel price became steady. Due to insufficient demand for ferronickel, the ferronickel market was in lower level.Today, the price of high grade ferronickel went down again. It was quoted at 1140-1160 RMB/Nickel.The low grade ferronickel was quoted at 3300-3400 RMB/T.
