By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 14240 USD/T. It was 410 USD/T lower than the price on last Friday. Today, the trading volume was less in future nickel market.Due to fall of LME nickel price, the price of future nickel kept on dropping. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 1908 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 100-300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1400-1600 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 114500 RMB/T. It was 1500 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

The stainless steel price dropped down largely because of declining of LME nickel price. Besides, the trading volume of stainless steel was less. These affected ferronickel market. Today, the mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 1040-1060 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low grade ferronickel was 3050-3250 RMB/T.
