[Ferro-alloys.com] Spot supply of calcium metal was no longer in serious shortage and market price continued to drop in China. According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, in Shanxi and Henan Province, the major producing areas of calcium metal, mainstream ex-work price of Ca98%，0-2mm calcium granule decreased from RMB 21500/mt (USD3468/mt) to RMB 21,200/mt, and price of Ca98%min ∮7.5㎜calcium silk decreased from RMB 24,500/mt to RMB 24,200/m. As hot summer ended, more calcium manufacturers resumed production and output stabilized. Meanwhile，some new raw calcium capacity was put into production. Spot supply was abundant, so market price fell.
