[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is reported that Vale is likely to become the global biggest nickel supplier in the next two to three quarters. 
The company supplies around 3000,000 tons of nickel ore per year. Besides, Vale has poured more investment in in resources businesses including copper. 
Vale said it remains positive on the outlook for nickel over the next 1 year.
However, the company’s nickel production dropped b 8.6% to 61,600 tons in the second quarter from the previous quarter.
