The company’s newly acqui and Steel reported production of 0.69 million tonnes in Q1 of FY 22.

State-owned NMDC said its board has approved the de-merger of NMDC Steel Limited.

In June alone, it produced 1.37 MT, up 18 per cent from 1.16 MT in the same month of 2020.

The crude steel production during the previous quarter was around 4.37 million tonnes.

Most market participants are now in a wait-and-watch mode, expecting the new round of price releases.

"We have been lifting the prices of most of our products, and the availability of some items is very tight," the official commented.
