In recent period, better demand of manganese alloys promotes ore produced in China up, especially for imported ore with rising by RMB10/mtu from previous period. It is said that lump ore produced in China 25% reached RMB 620/mtu in Guangxi; ore 30% can even arrive RMB1,050/mtu. In Liaoning, ore 28% has also increased to RMB1,000/mt. However, many ore producers are still reluctant to sell products. It is predicted that full operation of many manganese alloys plants would stimulate ore price still has some rising room.
