[Ferro-Alloys.com]A Federal Circuit panel criticized the US Department of Commerce during oral arguments for imposing anti dumping duties on a Mexican nonalloy steel pipe reseller, saying the agency shouldn't have punished the company for its supplier's noncompliance with an administrative review.
Although the federal government claimed it imposed higher anti dumping duties on Mueller Comercial de Mexico S de RL de CV to deter foreign companies from refusing to cooperate with their reviews, the three judge panel noted that Mueller itself had fully complied with Commerce's requests.
