[Ferro-Alloys.com] Indian pig iron ex-work price kept steady about US$290/ton last week due to quiet market demand during New Year holiday.

Indian traders indicate that most buyers did not purchase in early January, but suppliers still increase their production.

The oversupply has driven the price down by US$3~US$6/ton. They are concerned the pig iron price will keep dropping if the export is still sluggish.
