China Would Maintain the Temporary Tariff Rate of 0% on Imported Coal

[Ferro-alloys.com]Ministry of Finance issued China’s 2014 tariff implementation plan recently. According to the announcement, China would maintain the temporary tariff rate of 0% on imported coal.
 
In 2012, China imported 0.29 billion mt coal. According to the latest data of General Administration of Customs, the import in the past 11 months had exceeded the number. It was estimated that China would import as much as 0.3 billion mt coal in 2013.
