[Ferro-Alloys.com] Chinese government has allocated the first batch of indium export quotas for 2014, with 162 mt allocated to 17 companies. The top five awardees are: Zhuzhou Keneng, 54.528 mt; Minmetals, 22.87 mt; Guangxi Debang, 21.129 mt; Nanjing China Germanium, 20.361 mt; and Chenzhou Fengyue, 8.101 mt. With China’s export volumes all but dissipated, sources remarked that the current allocation of quotas is largely nominal compared to years past.
