Korea’s Q3 Steel Pipe Imports Hit New Record Highs

According to statistic, Korea’s steel pipe imports totaled 726,604 tons in the third quarter of this year, falling by 0.8% year on year.
 
In the third quarter of this year, the country’s imports of spiral steel pipes jumped by 142.8% year on year to 53,591 tons, boosted by surged imports from South America.
 
However, Korea’s imports of roll bending steel pipes slumped by 33.4% year on year to 73,956 tons in the third quarter of this year.
