According to data released by Peru's Energy and Mining Ministry, the country’s iron ore output totaled 289,838 long tons in August, slumping by 49% year on year.
In the first eight months of this year, the country’s iron ore production amounted to 4.67 million long tons, growing by 4.35% in comparison of the figures in the same period of 2012.
