According to the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), in the first nine months of 2013, Germany's new car registrations fell 6% when compared to last year.
The total number of new car registered came to 2,217,000 units for the first nine months.
In September, 247,200 units were registered, a 1% decrease over 2012 but a 15.4% increase if compared to August.
However, it is reported that 389,000 cars were exported in September, a 15% increase over September 2012 and a whopping 32.3% increase when compared to August.
For the first nine months of 2013, German passenger car exports came to 3,140,200 units, which is stable when compared to 2012.
