It’s reported that Indian largest steelmaker JSW Steel announced that the company’s crude steel output totaled 2.98 million tons in the second quarter of the financial year 2013/14, soaring by 37% year on year.
JSW stated that its output of flat rolled steel products totaled 2.45 million tons in the second quarter of financial year 2013/14, soaring by 69%; that of long rolled steel products was at 460,000 tons, up by 3%, both compared to the figures in the same quarter of 2012.
Meanwhile, JSW Steel’s crude steel output amounted to 5.84 million tons in the first half of financial year 2013/14, jumping by 35% year on year.
