According to data released by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, the country’s output of steel pipes totaled 1.2908 million tons in the first nine months of this year, falling by 19.5% year on year.
In the given period of time, Interpipe Niko Tube was the largest steel pipe producer in the country with 297,300 tons, falling by 11.5%; Interpipe Nizhnedneprovsky Pipe Plant was the second largest one with 272,600 tons, decreasing by 11.7% and Metinvest Khartsyzsk Tube Works was the third largest one with 219,800 tons, slumping by 32.7%, all compared to the figures in the same period of 2012.
In September alone, the country’s steel pipe output totaled 140,700 tons, down by 1.9% from a month ago.
