It’s reported that the stocks of steel pipes decreased by 12,529 tons to 609,754 tons in August, caused by decreased output and increased domestic sales.
The country’s steel pipe output totaled 406,501 tons in August, falling by 13.8% from a month ago. Among them, 283,787 tons were sold to domestic market, soaring by 30.2%; 139,202 tons were made to export market, falling by 19.8%, both compared to the figures in the same month of 2012.
Meanwhile, industry sources pointed out that the country’s steel pipe output decreased substantially as the government rule to limit power usage in August.
