According to data released by the Brazilian aluminum association Abal, Brazil’s aluminum output totaled 111,600 tons in August, falling by 7.8% in comparison of 121,000 tons in the same period of a year ago.
It’s analyzed that the drop in aluminum production was caused by high input costs and low metal prices.
