Korean Posco P&S Purchase Japanese Scraps

It’s reported that Korea’s Posco P&S purchased a batch of scraps from Japan recently.
 
The company bought Shindachi scraps, P&S scrap and shredded scraps with prices of ￥38,500/ton C&F, ￥38,000/ton C&F and ￥37,000/ton C&F respectively.
 
It’s known that the current purchasing prices of Shindachi scraps and P&S scraps dropped by ￥500/ton from the previous purchasing prices.
 
In Korean domestic market, Hyundai Steel planned to cut scrap purchasing prices by KRW10,000/ton at its Pohang works. Dongkuk Steel also planned to reduce scrap purchasing prices at its Pohang works by KRW10,000/ton.
