Japan’s demand for crude steel is estimated to reach 27.97 million tons in the fourth quarter of this year, remaining unchanged from the previous quarter but rising by 8% year on year.
In the given period of time, the demand for Japanese steel, including exports is expected to hit 24.6 million tons, rising by 5% year on year.
The exports are expected to be at 8.51 million tons, rising by 4% year on year but decreasing by 4.6% from a quarter ago.
