PrintIt’s reported that the US scrap export prices to Taiwan have remained flat this week.
This week, the quotes of the US HMS 80:20 (1&2) to Taiwan are at US$347/ton CFR and the expected transaction prices are at US$345/ton CFR.
However, the Taiwanese steel mills bid US$340/ton CFR for the US scraps. Thus, there is no transaction so far.
