Korea’s Stainless Heavy Plate Imports Decline in August

According to statistics, Korea’s imports of stainless heavy plates totaled 3,696 tons in August, slumping by 28.8% from a month ago and decreasing by 32% year on year.
 
Among them, 1,606 tons were exported to Japan and 963 tons were to China.
 
In the first eight months of this year, the country’s imports of stainless heavy plates amounted to 34,999 tons, increasing by 13.8% year on year.
