China’s Welded Steel Pipe Production Increases in August

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China’s production of welded steel pipes rose slightly from July’s 4.23 million tons to 4.44 million tons in August, reflecting improved demand.
 
In August, the daily welded steel pipe output averaged at 143,290 tons, increasing by 5% from a month ago and rising by 6% year on year.
 
In the first eight months of this year, the country’s welded steel pipe output amounted to 32.67 million tons, soaring by 11% year on year.
