PrintRecently, Korea’s import price of hot rolled coils (HRC) and heavy plate rebounded.
According to the statistics from the customs, the average imported price of HRC in September is quoted at US$586/ton, up by US$6/ton on August, which is the first rebounding since May.
Korea’s import price of HRC from China and Japan were quoted at US$560/ton and US$595/ton, up by US$13/ton and down by U$D3/ton respectively.
Till 9th of September, the Korean imported price of heavy plate was quoted at US$725/ton, up by US$37/ton.
The country’s import prices of heavy plate from China and Japan were quoted at US$790/ton and US$580/ton, up by US$31/ton but down by US$6/ton respectively.
In the period of September 1st-9th, Korea imported 132,906 tons and 68,100 tons of HRC and heavy plate respectively.
